This roster consists of 10 players drafted fresh every year from the list of players drafted that current year by MLB teams. The only restrictions to this is that the player drafted by the MLB team actually signs a contract with that team for him to be eligible in our draft. For example, a player out of high school is drafted by a team and decides not to sign, but to go to college. That player may be drafted again in the future and therefore, he is not eligilble for us to draft. You can draft any top prospect you like at any position you like. Players on this roster will have one year to sit there for you to evaluate. After one year, these players will have to be moved to your AA roster (or if you are lucky enough, signed to a contract and promoted straight to AAA or MLB) or released into free agency as UFA's. This will then free up this roster for the next seasons FYP draft.

you could drop them if you wanted, but they are one year players anyway. So to keep one, you would have to promote to AA and I really don't think it is fair to drop and add another player to this list, when you could just add that player to AA. To me, I guess it really doesn't matter because at the end of the season, we are going to wipe these rosters clean and redraft from the new core of incoming players drafted by MLB. At that time, all of these players who are not promoted to an owners AA roster will become free agents and available to be added to anyones AA roster.

Thanks just wanting to know before the party begins, lol i probably wouldn't drop a player from this roster, unless in case of the player i had drafted falls off the earth and another player really moves up big in the minors that is eligible for this roster.

you know, If anyone really watches these guys and sees a possible upgrade this deep, I am all for it. The draft is designed to allow the weaker teams first shot at the new and incoming studs. After the draft, this roster should be just like the AA roster in that you can add and drop players from it at will as long as they meet the requirements for this roster which is being a first year player - so yea, you can if you want. If anyone else objects to this, let us know ASAP
